Sona Hovhannisyan is a business and management professional with over two decades of experience in strategy, finances, corporate governance, and organizational transformation. She has advised and held leadership roles across healthcare, manufacturing, import and distribution, retail, branding, and events industries, guiding companies through strategic growth, restructuring, and operational excellence.

Sona currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of the “Margaryan Maternity Hospital” Research Center for Maternal and Child Health Protection, and as Business and Management Consultant to several leading organizations, including Backbone Branding, Modd Events, and ENA Clinic & Academy. She is also the Co-Founder of Ecoist Ltd, actively supporting sustainable and creative entrepreneurship in Armenia.

As a corporate governance advocate, she contributes to strengthening corporate governance practices and advancing leadership excellence in the region. In addition, Sona lectures in the Executive MBA program at Yerevan State Medical University, mentoring future leaders in strategic management and organizational development.
