Davit Nahapetyan
Davit Nahapetyan has been elected as a board member at the Central Bank of Armenia by the Parliament of Armenia in December, 2020
He is a representative in Governing bodies of several institutions (Financial System Mediator - Chairman of the Board, Developments and Investments Corporation of Armenia - Chairman of the Board,
Black Sea Trade and Development Bank - Alternate Governor of the Republic of Armenia). He represents Central Bank of Armenia in several committees and boards within the Eurasian economic union, as well as in bilateral intergovernmental commissions.
Before his current position, Mr Nahapetyan served as a Secretary General and member of executive committee of Central bank of Armenia since 2017. He joined the Central Bank in 2006 as Deputy Chief of Staff later taking up the role of the Chief of Staff (in 2015).
He holds a PhD in Economics from Lomonosov Moscow State University and a Master's degree in Economics from Yerevan State University. Davit Nahapetyan has also completed a certificate program in Public Policy and Public Administration at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (Tufts University).
