Rafayel Sargsyan was a Board Chairman of Acba Bank since January 2022 till April 2026. 

He is an experienced lawyer within the banking industry with significant leadership experience at Acba Bank. Rafayel is the former Head of ACBA Bank’s Legal Department, where he was responsible for the Group legal & governance, as well as for NPL collection process.

Since 2019, Mr. Sargsyan is a lecturer of Banking Law at the Faculty of Law of Yerevan State University.

He is graduate of Yerevan State University, with also receiving his PhD degree in law after graduating the Armenian-Russian Slavonic University/ Lomonosov Moscow State University of Armenia.
