Tigran Arustamyan is the General Director of CJSC Armenal, the leading manufacturer of aluminum foil in Armenia and the only facility of its kind in the country. The Yerevan foil rolling plant «ARMENAL» was established in May 2000 on the basis of the Kanaker Aluminum plant, which was launched in 1950.

Armenal Foil Mill is one of the largest multiple-discipline enterprises of the nonferrous metallurgy with the full closed technological process and with final reprocessing of the primary aluminum. The main equipment of the plant was modernized with the participation of the engineering firm «Achenbach» from Germany. The ecology for us is more than observance of the rules and standards. We are aware of environment protection importance.

Armenal successfully exports different kinds of aluminium foil to overall 21 countires, including the European Union (Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, United Kingdom, France, Netherlands, Spain, Greece, Austria, etc.). The main products of the plant include aluminum foil 0.007-0.200mm thick, 20-1500mm wide, food container foil and aluminum tape. It also holds necessary certificates for quality and sustainable development.                                                           

In 2018 Tigran was assigned as a Director of Production at CJSC Armenal, and in 2025, he was officially appointed as the General Director of the company. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the State Engineering University of Armenia, a Master’s degree in Management from the European University of Armenia, and an MBA with a specialization in Production Systems from the Lomonosov Moscow State University Business School. In recognition of his long-standing contribution to the company’s development, Tigran Arustamyan was awarded a medal by the Republican Trade Union of Metallurgists and Miners.
